Each Healing Room ministry team consists of a group of volunteer Christians from several local churches, joining in unity to see the body of Christ (the church) restored and then to take the glorious gospel of Jesus Christ into the world with demonstration of healing. Our focus is on the presence and power of the Holy Spirit to work through us to heal the sick.
Healing Rooms England and Wales
Healing Rooms England & Wales (Charity Registration Number 1125094) relates to the International Association of Healing Rooms (IAHR) based in Spokane, Washington, USA. It oversees all the IAHR Healing Rooms in England and Wales and is based in Congleton, Cheshire.
We have a vision to see every town and city in England and Wales with at least one Healing Room and many Healing Rooms in larger cities. This is part of a wider vision to see Healing Rooms set in around the world. The first IAHR Healing Room in the UK opened in Halifax, West Yorkshire at the end of January 2003. There are now over 70 registered IAHR Healing Rooms in England and Wales. Worldwide there are over 3,000 Healing Rooms in 80 nations all linked together through IAHR.
